June 21-27, 2026, thirty students from Mount Carmel Academy will travel to Bloomington Indiana to participate in the International Thespian Festival. This festival gives students the opportunity to showcase their individual talents in such events as Group Musical Theatre, Group Dance, Group Acting, Monologue, and Solo Musical Theater. We are very proud of our students and their accomplishments.  

The Educational Theater Association runs this Festival and students from all over the world will represent their schools in this prestigious international celebration of theater. This experience will be a first for several of our students here at MCA.

The all-inclusive cost for each student, including travel, expenses, meals and lodging is approximately $1,600. Because several of the students are in need of some financial assistance, please consider contributing to this most valuable and educational opportunity.  Your contribution would be an investment in our community’s future by allowing these students to showcase their work, and perform at this high level of competition.

You may make donations to one or all of the students by writing a check payable to Mount Carmel Academy and sending to Kristi Jacobs-Stanley, STK Director. When donating for the group, memo “STK – Nationals.”  If sponsoring a specific student, please also write the student’s name in the memo line of the check. If you prefer to pay by credit card you can do that at stk.booktix.com.
